Technical and textile design

The Specialised Didactics Centre for Technical and Textile Design (TTG-D) comprises the following three areas:

  • Development of teaching-learning organisation for teaching materials and for schools
  • Development, research and optimisation of learning environments in subject teaching (specialised didactics in developmental research, design-based research)
  • Development with a focus on MINT (in cooperation with the Bern University of Applied Sciences)

The research projects are based on quality criteria of applied research. They are interdisciplinary and characterised by a high transfer entitlement. The aim of the research projects is to provide innovation, development and guidance in the specialised didactics of technical and textile design.
