INTAKT: Studie zur Qualität pädagogischer Interaktionen in Sekundarschulklassen

The Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) is supporting a joint research project between the PHBern and the PH Zurich on the quality of pedagogical interactions in secondary school classrooms (INTAKT). Successful educational interactions are important for the development of pupils and the health of teachers. The INTAKT study takes up established quality characteristics of teaching (classroom management, student orientation, cognitive activation) and examines these from a consistently interactionist perspective (organisation, climate, knowledge construction). This involves observing and interviewing 100 secondary school classes to record both the behaviour and the experience of those involved. The study contributes to a better understanding of pedagogical interactions in the classroom and to their promotion.
