An idea or imagination in your head? But how to communicate it to others? Why not use artificial intelligence for visualisation?
This project tests whether and how this is possible.
Project description
Using artificial intelligence (AI) to visualise imaginations and ideas is the core of this project. It has the following three focal points:
- FOCUS I. SUITABILITY OF AI GENERATORS FOR THE VISUALISATION OF IMAGINATIONS
In this project, test series will show the extent to which AI generators are suitable for visualising imaginations. The creation of a catalogue of criteria plays an important role here. This will be used for evaluation in order to assess the closeness of the AI output to the person's original imagination. - FOCUS II. PROMPT GENERATION AND PROMPT OPTIMISATION
Various prompt techniques based on the topic of ‘How to talk about images’ are being tested as part of this project. The prompt as ‘the language that AI understands’ is an important component and target value here. This is precisely where HKB's competences as a project partner become relevant, as its expertise lies in visual language, image description, image perception and image interpretation. - FOCUS III. IMPLEMENTATION AND UTILISATION
The results of this project will be implemented directly and as a practical application. For example, for the visualisation of imaginations for the future development of education and schools within the framework of corresponding teaching-learning formats. Implementation within school makerspaces, for brainstorming visualisation, for documenting strategy processes or for highlighting new ideas is also conceivable.
