MuTiK – Multilingualism and the Transition to Kindergarten
Multilingual families in the Canton of Bern receive support during their child’s transition to kindergarten. How do multilingual families experience this period? How can the school system best support them? The findings help teachers to best accommodate multilingualism and to have realistic expectations regarding the children’s language development.
