Eine hohe Unterrichtsqualität ist für die kognitive, selbstregulative und soziale Entwicklung von Kindern und Jugendlichen zentral. Unsere Forschung untersucht, wie verschiedene Aspekte des Unterrichts den Lernerfolg von Kindern und Jugendlichen beeinflussen. Darüber hinaus werden im Rahmen von Interventionsstudien videobasierte Aus- und Weiterbildungsformate entwickelt und deren Wirksamkeit auf die Unterrichtsqualität und den Lernerfolg von Kindern und Jugendlichen überprüft.
